Overview

Foxit is transforming the way the world interacts with documents—and we’re equally ambitious about shaping the employee experience that powers that transformation. As Director of People & Culture for EMEA & APAC, you will be a key member of our global People Leadership Team, overseeing regional HR strategy, operations, and programs that support our distributed teams and dynamic business growth across two of our most vital international regions.

This is a highly strategic and hands-on leadership role, responsible for cultivating a high-performance, inclusive culture, aligning talent initiatives with business goals, and ensuring compliance with local employment laws and standards. You will lead and develop People & Culture teams across EMEA and APAC, partnering with regional leaders and global HR stakeholders to drive engagement, operational excellence, and long-term talent development.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the People & Culture function across EMEA and APAC, ensuring alignment with global strategies while adapting to local cultural and regulatory needs.

Partner closely with regional business leaders to drive organizational effectiveness, talent strategies, and workforce planning initiatives.

Design and implement scalable HR programs focused on employee engagement, retention, performance, and leadership development.

Oversee compensation, benefits, and reward strategies across regions to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.

Serve as a strategic advisor and thought partner to executive leadership on people issues, organizational design, and change management.

Champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) across regions through policies, programming, and leadership accountability.

Lead the development and growth of regional People & Culture team members, building capability and strategic HR acumen.

Ensure full compliance with all regional labor laws and regulatory requirements, mitigating risk and safeguarding our employer brand.

Act as a cultural steward—reinforcing Foxit’s values and behaviors in every aspect of the employee lifecycle.

Collaborate globally with HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence (CoEs), and Talent Acquisition to ensure consistency, knowledge-sharing, and operational integration.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree or equivalent professional certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, or similar) preferred.

10+ years of progressive HR experience, including 5+ years in a regional or global leadership role within a high-growth SaaS or technology company.

Deep knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices across multiple EMEA and APAC jurisdictions.

Experience scaling people strategies across geographies in complex, multicultural, and fast-paced environments.

Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, lead through ambiguity, and drive measurable outcomes across distributed teams.

Strong analytical, operational, and project management skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.

Commitment to advancing equity, inclusion, and employee wellbeing at all levels.

Fluent in English; additional European or APAC language(s) a strong advantage.
