We are seeking a skilled Hospital Cleaner to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in fast-paced healthcare environments.
About the Role:
* As a Hospital Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of hospital wards and public areas.
* You will work closely with other staff members to ensure that all surfaces, equipment, and facilities are clean and disinfected.
* Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work efficiently under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Day-to-day cleaning of hospital wards and public areas
* Clean and disinfect handrails, door handles, stairwells, and all surfaces in public areas
* Perform deep cleaning of wards and follow instructions for this process
* Maintain cleanliness of non-clinical areas while following hospital procedures
* Work efficiently and maintain calm under pressure
* Ensure adherence to food hygiene and health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
* A minimum of five years of experience working in a hospital/nursing home cleaning setting or come from a high-volume contract cleaning background
* Excellent English both written and verbal
* Ability to adapt to new healthcare environments
* Two working references with a minimum of two years for each provided
* Valid work permits to work full-time in Ireland with no restrictions
