Role purpose
Learn the full 360° recruitment cycle and help place qualified candidates fast. You'll source talent, qualify them properly, keep the CRM spotless, and support your team to hit revenue targets. It's a sales role with a heavy people-focus and a lot of rejection. You'll be trained, coached, and measured from day one.
What you'll do
Sourcing & outreach
* Build talent pipelines via job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and database search.
* Write and post clear, compliant job adverts; run Boolean searches; send high-quality outreach.
* Make volume calls/messages daily to engage and screen candidates.
Candidate screening & management
* Run structured phone/video screens (skills, salary, notice, right-to-work, motivators).
* Prep candidates for interview; manage diaries, feedback loops, and offer stages.
* Keep candidates warm, handle counter-offers, and close placements professionally.
Client support (with supervision)
* Take job briefs, clarify must-haves vs nice-to-haves, advise on market/comp.
* Shortlist and present candidates; coordinate interviews and debriefs.
* Shadow on BD calls/meetings; contribute to account research and mapping.
Process, data & compliance
* Maintain CRM/ATS hygiene: every call logged, statuses accurate, notes useful.
* Follow GDPR/right-to-work and sector checks (e.g., references/DBS if applicable).
* Hit daily activity targets without gaming the numbers.
Learning & development
* Complete the training plan (tools, sourcing techniques, objection handling, negotiation).
* Adopt playbooks/templates; practice call recordings and get feedback.
