Financial Control Leader
As a Financial Control Leader, you will oversee the timely and accurate financial reporting for the UK & Ireland region. This key position involves managing working capital, currency requirements, balance sheet, pensions, payroll accounting, and taxation. You will also be responsible for external relationships with banks, auditors, and tax authorities.
Main Accountabilities:
* Leadership: Finance strategy, continuous improvement, business partnering, team development, and stakeholder management.
* Controls & Compliance: Balance sheet oversight, IFRS & UK GAAP reporting, tax compliance, cash flow control, audit management, and financial process development.
Prior experience is not essential, but familiarity with international teams is preferred. You'll mentor and develop two Assistant Controllers, ensuring professional growth and operational excellence.
Key Requirements
* Fully qualified (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA)
* Experienced with UK GAAP and IFRS accounting standards
* Adept to SAP R/3 and the Microsoft Office suite
* A strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills
* A commercially aware leader who thrives in a fast-paced, structured environment
* Able to work autonomously while fostering collaboration across teams
* Comfortable with international business dynamics
