Role: Business Analyst - ICT
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Hybrid: 2 days onsite per week
Contract- Duration 12 months (scope of 2 further 12-month extensions)
About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and capable
Managed Service Provider
to deliver
IT Business Analyst
support for a large-scale IT solutions environment. The Business Analyst will work closely with internal ICT teams and business units to support ongoing and upcoming digital transformation projects.
Key Objectives of the Engagement:
The selected provider will support the organisation in delivering high-quality, secure, and efficient IT solutions by:
• Encouraging innovation and technology adoption across IT infrastructure and operations
• Supporting development of scalable, secure, and reliable software solutions
• Ensuring timely delivery of project milestones
• Driving continuous improvement and productivity
• Collaborating closely with stakeholders and business units to deliver value-driven solutions
• Staying current with emerging technologies and industry best practices
• Maintaining clear communication across technical and business teams
• Ensuring solutions meet security, compliance, and regulatory requirements
• Identifying and mitigating risks throughout solution development
• Supporting knowledge transfer to internal ICT and business teams
Operating Environment Overview:
• Virtualised Microsoft Hyper-V clustered environment with Azure, Windows Server 2016/22, Microsoft 365, Windows 10
• Cloud-first strategy with applications primarily hosted online
• Data stored across Azure, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams
• In-house solution development using Microsoft platform technologies (Dynamics 365, PowerApps, Dataverse, Customer Voice)
• Fortinet technology for firewall and network security
• MS Teams-based telecoms; mobile devices managed via Intune
• Remote access via Fortinet-secured VPN
• All infrastructure owned and managed internally, with strict governance on new integrations
• Current major ongoing projects include:
– Migration to a new online grant management system
– Upgrade from Microsoft Navision to Microsoft Business Central (2025–2026)
Initial Resource Requirement:
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop
process flow diagrams
to document current and future business processes and system interactions
• Create and maintain project documentation, including:
–
Test Plans:
Define scope, scenarios, acceptance criteria, test cases, and coordinate SIT & UAT. Ensure traceability, document results, track issues, and provide PowerBI summaries for go/no-go decisions

Pilot & Sign-off Documents:
Coordinate pilot testing, capture feedback, and document formal stakeholder sign-off

Training Materials:
Develop user guides, quick reference materials, and deliver training sessions
• Work closely with ICT teams and business partners to design and implement
change management strategies
• Liaise with third-party suppliers when required
