Project Manager for New Product Development New Product Introduction (NPI) Project Managers at our company drive innovation and lead new technology development initiatives. This role focuses on the conception, development, and implementation of new products, primarily turn-key single-use bioprocessing equipment. You will be part of a cross-functional team of highly motivated and collaborative colleagues across Europe. Responsibilities include: * Serving as the central coordination point between diverse interdepartmental stakeholders, including collaboration with Product Management, Engineering, R&D, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, After Sales, Quality, Documentation, and Commercial Sales teams. * Leading, empowering, motivating, and guiding teams in multiple and various new product development projects through the entire lifecycle, including iterative design phases, prototype manufacturing, prototype testing, documentation creation, technical transfer to serial production. * Preparing product development project schedules, roadmaps using Smartsheet, and managing daily activities with task lists and Trello boards, keeping these up-to-date. * Preparing cost calculations and budgets for various new products and keeping these current. * Managing changes and change requirements during the product development process, keeping project team members and steering committee updated regarding changes. * Organizing the work of the project team, assigning tasks, and ensuring accountability. * Supporting and solving problems hindering task completion. * Arranging and leading project meetings, kick-off meetings, weekly and daily Scrum meetings, and steering committee meetings. * Coordinating prototype building, testing, and documentation activities. * Overseeing new product documentation creation, user manuals, certifications, technical specifications, testing protocols. * Preparing reports and dashboards for the project steering committee. * Managing technical transfer and new product implementation to serial manufacturing. * Proactively addressing technical and commercial challenges. * Developing the New Product Development Change Control processes for custom and standard products. * Communicating with the steering committee, management, and fostering trusting relationships.
