Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative (Full-Time, Permanent)
Location: Santry, Dublin
Rate: €14.75 per hour
Schedule: 8-hour shift
About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our busy warehouse team at our Santry depot. This is a full-time, permanent position suited to someone with strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Receiving and unloading deliveries from suppliers
* Picking and preparing orders (including timber and sheet materials)
* Pallet wrapping and preparing goods for dispatch
* Loading products onto company fleet vehicles
* Assisting with customer collections
* Checking deliveries for damaged or missing items
* Maintaining accurate paperwork and records
* Performing general warehouse duties
* Ensuring the warehouse is clean, organised, and free from hazards
Requirements
* Minimum 1 year forklift driving experience
* Valid forklift licence
* Previous warehouse or distribution centre experience (preferred)
* Good communication skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to work safely and efficiently in a busy environment
