Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring our properties are well-maintained, in a timely and efficient manner. We manage single-family houses and small apartment buildings across St. Louis City and County.
* Carry out work orders as assigned and prioritized.
* Perform repairs involving plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, drywall, painting, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
* Prepare apartment turns within 7 days of vacancy.
* Meet with vendors to request, receive and report contractor bids.
* On-call responsibility (rotating basis).
* Communicate with residents to perform work, maintaining high customer service standards.
* Execute comprehensive preventative maintenance programs on all buildings' systems.
* Inspect houses/apartments semi-annually for plumbing issues, HVAC filters, etc.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Time Management & Organization: Prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
Attention to Detail: Ensure thoroughness and accuracy in work order completion.
Physical Demands: Carry 50+ pounds, climb ladders and stairs, lift over head at least 40 pounds.
Qualifications: Prior experience in maintenance (minimum 2 years preferred), Driver's License, Reliable Vehicle, Smartphone.
