ROLE PURPOSE To provide HR Systems advice and support to Managers and Staff in the Hospital and ensure compliance with HR policies and relevant legislation in line with best practice.
QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE Essential Criteria: Bachelors degree or equivalent plus 3-5 years experience Strong experience working with HR Systems Analytical and Numbers Literate Highly developed communication and presentation skills Have a proven ability to be a strong team player and provide support at all levels Ability to work under pressure and deal positively with difficult situations.
Solutions oriented creative & proactive in approach Ability to prioritise and work to key deadlines Discrete understanding the importance of confidentiality in the job Excellent attention to detail Excellent interpersonal skills KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Superuser of the HR System Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to system users Developing existing HR System and assist with the implementation of all new HR Systems Collaborates with IT and Business Intelligence teams to identify system improvements and enhanced reporting Develop the Pay and Benefits areas to embrace technical solutions e.g.
workflows and automation of timesheets Provide ongoing training to Managers on the HR System Analysis of data and provide support to Managers on Data requests where required Work closely with and provide advice and assistance to Heads of Departments, Managers and Staff regarding HR System and Data To assist in the payroll checking process in conjunction with local managers To produce reports on headcount, absence and turnover etc.
as required Update and maintain data on relevant systems, ensuring the highest levels of accuracy To work closely with HR colleagues and to work as part of the HR Team providing overall HR support to the hospital Maintain HR records and provide statistical information as required Preparation and Maintenance of Employee HR Files Champion the continuous development & refinement of HR administrative processes and services, procedures to improve efficiency & overall service Payroll: Collation, preparation, and completion of reports for monthly payroll in conjunction with payroll team, managers and payroll providers as required Ensure that processes, policies, systems, and relationships are fair, equitable and foster a culture of openness, trust and inclusion Contribute and lead as appropriate on HR projects, as requested Any other tasks that may be assigned General expectations Report Directly to the HR Data Manager.
