We are partnering with a leading financial services firm in Limerick to recruit a
Private Equity Fund Accountant
to join their growing Private Equity Fund Accounting department. Reporting to a Team Leader, this is a pivotal role supporting all aspects of Private Equity Fund administration, fund accounting, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality service to assigned clients.
* Liaise directly with clients, auditors, and investors – ensuring queries are resolved efficiently.
* Prepare and review NAVs, regulatory returns, compliance reports, and board packs.
* Oversee accurate and timely payment of operating expenses.
* Support client onboarding and fund set-up, ensuring operational arrangements are established.
* Work closely with internal teams to meet client service levels and regulatory deadlines.
Skills & Experience
* Experience in
reviewing NAV files
(essential).
* Strong knowledge of Irish/UK GAAP, US GAAP, or IFRS.
* Proficiency in management accounts, debits & credits.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication (oral & written) and client-facing skills.
* Experience with
Investran
(a bonus).
* Strong MS Excel and Word skills.
* Knowledge of the Irish regulatory/tax regime is desirable.
