Overview
Cyber Security Specialist (Graduate Role) – Dublin. The CHI Security Team is hiring a proactive, detail-oriented security graduate to support day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives in a hybrid working environment.
Location: Dublin, Ireland. Schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 9:00–17:00, with occasional evening or weekend work depending on project demands. A part-time option (three or four days per week) is available as an alternative to full-time.
Employment type: Contract (initially 3 months) with potential extension. Daily rate: €300 per day. Hybrid: 2–3 days onsite.

Key Responsibilities
* Handle security-related ServiceNow tickets from start to finish, including investigation and resolution.
* Process vendor remote access requests, prepare them for security review, and support the access setup steps.
* Contribute to the development and delivery of security awareness training, including assisting in phishing test campaigns planning and analysis.
* Write and maintain knowledge base articles on security topics to support internal awareness and documentation.
* Oversee and support the management of third-party patching processes to ensure timely and secure updates.
* Participate in incident response activities, including investigation and documentation.
* Help identify and remediate vulnerabilities across systems and applications.
* Stay informed on emerging security trends and recommend improvements.
Key Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in security management, cybersecurity, or related field; foundational security certification such as CompTIA Security+ or equivalent preferred.
* Internship or academic project experience in a security-related role; basic understanding of compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR), phishing, vulnerability management, and incident response is preferred.
* Knowledge of information security principles, including confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
* Critical thinking with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to investigate issues and implications.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively; ability to provide multiple solutions and seek stakeholder consensus.
* Interest in continuous learning and professional development in the security domain.
