Maintenance Technician Role
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain equipment and facilities in operation.
* Liaise with external contractors for optimal maintenance services.
About the Position:
* A strong foundation in electrical or mechanical qualifications is desirable.
* Prior experience in facilities maintenance would be advantageous.
* Detailed knowledge of all facilities systems including Boiler, Compressed Air, HVAC, Chilled Water, and general electrical and mechanical services.
* Ability to read electrical and hydraulic/pneumatic schematic diagrams effectively.
The Successful Candidate Will:
* Be responsible for maintaining plant and equipment in the facilities department.
* Compile standard specifications/procedures for each item and monitor all existing plant to standard specifications.
* Establish relationships with customers and suppliers to drive continuous improvement.
* Attend internal meetings to help establish priorities and assign tasks.
* Solve customer-related problems/issues in conjunction with the Quality department.
