University College Cork wishes to appoint an academic to the role of Lecturer Across the Bar in Agribusiness and Farm Management. This jointly funded position with Teagasc offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the expanding agri‑food systems research community and to play an active role in the development and delivery of teaching programmes in agriculture and agrifood business.
Qualifications
 * Track record of relevant research and education in farm management, agribusiness and agricultural economics.
 * Demonstrated potential to publish in leading international journals (3‑4 star ranked journals preferred).
 * Experience or potential to contribute to multidisciplinary research teams.
 * Experience and/or potential to deliver high quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate education levels.
Responsibilities
 * Lead and collaborate on farm management and agribusiness research, with an emphasis on the Irish context.
 * Develop and deliver high quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in farm management, agribusiness and related areas.
 * Collaborate with Teagasc and other academic institutions and business entities to advance research and teaching.
 * Contribute to UCC Futures, the School's strategic research themes, Future of Work and Economies.

Appointment may be made on the Lecturer Salary Scale: Above the Bar €79,185 - €102,549 (Scale B) / €75,338 - €97,420 (Scale A), Below the Bar €42,102 - €72,452 (Scale B) / €44,169 - €68,942 (Scale A). Salary placement will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
