Financial Operations Specialist
We are seeking an experienced financial operations specialist to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leaders and play a key role in supporting group-wide financial initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Generate and distribute monthly commission statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Produce KPI reports at the individual sales level, providing data-driven insights for informed decision-making.
* Verify the accuracy of commission data, investigate discrepancies, and lead monthly commission reviews to recommend improvements.
* Analyze revenue by product, identifying trends and areas for growth.
* Post journal entries, manage ongoing financial schedules, and review and validate payroll journal entries.
* Complete reconciliations, including bank, intercompany, and balance sheets, to ensure financial integrity.
* Prepare month-end reports, communicating key findings to leadership and stakeholders.
* Maintain rolling forecasts for P&L and cash flow across business entities, assisting with strategic planning to support overall business goals.
* Prepare quarterly financial reports for the board, collaborating with multiple departments to compile board materials.
Requirements:
* ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
* Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience
* Prior experience in financial services is beneficial
* Proficient in accounting platforms such as Xero
* Familiar with payroll systems (e.g., BrightPay or similar)
* Strong Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
* Experience with Power BI or Power Query is an asset
