Delicatessen Team Member
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our deli team at Mace Ballinalack.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and serve high-quality food products in an efficient manner, adhering to operational standards.
* Support daily kitchen operations, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and chilled products, ensuring seamless service delivery.
* Maintain effective stock management, implementing portion control measures to minimize waste.
* Ensure a clean workspace and facilities comply with HACCP legislation, upholding the highest standards of food hygiene and safety.
* Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
* Complete assigned deli checks in line with operational standards, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
* Receive and check stock in accordance with company guidelines, verifying product quality and quantities.
* Store and display products in line with food hygiene and merchandising policies, showcasing high-quality offerings.
* Rotate stock effectively to minimize waste, optimizing product lifespan and reducing unnecessary expenses.
Requirements:
* Flexibility to work across shifts, Monday to Sunday, including evenings and weekends, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to work varied schedules.
* A strong focus on food hygiene, safety, and quality, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards in these areas.
* Previous experience in a deli or food service environment is advantageous, but not essential, as training will be provided for the right candidate.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
