About the role
Based in our Abbeyfeale office, Howden Ireland has a vacancy for an Administration Executive to support the team with administrative tasks. This role is fully office-based and offers opportunities for progression within the department, including handling client accounts over time.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure good practice in serving the client's best interests at all times.
* Assist Account Executives with administration tasks such as preparing submissions, data entry, document scanning, issuing documents, mid-term adjustments, and finance support.
* Liaise with Credit Control regarding finance issues.
* Prepare daily post for collection and provide weekly updates on post arrears.
* Adhere to compliance standards outlined in company policies.
* Follow health and safety policies.
* Manage diaries effectively to meet customer, compliance, and quality standards.
About You
* Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
* Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and perform under pressure.
* Innovative, collaborative, flexible, and results-driven.
* Willing to progress to Account Executive level.
* Committed to learning, working towards an insurance qualification (APA Personal within 12 months).
* 1-2 years of administration experience preferred.
* Experience in the insurance industry is advantageous but not essential.
