Health & Safety Officer
A Health & Safety Officer is required for a leading main contractor to strengthen the Dublin Safety Team.
Duties
* Ensure safety is a priority across all site activities.
* Monitor, evaluate, and act on any Health & Safety conditions, promoting improvement and prevention through advice, education, and enforcement of legislation.
* Assist the SHEQ Manager in assessing staff safety development and training needs.
* Support company Health & Safety audits and attend meetings as required.
* Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and update the company safety statement.
* Monitor and contribute to company Health & Safety policies.
Requirements
* Professional Health & Safety degree qualification.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience on construction sites.
* Proven track record of maintaining accident-free sites.
* Knowledge of ISO, and SafeT Cert is advantageous.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and project-related software.
* Full driver’s licence required.
