Job Description
The incumbent will lead the development and implementation of recovery and resolution plans for distressed entities, assessing financial viability and advising on potential strategies.
Key Responsibilities
* Developing and evaluating resolution strategies for distressed entities, analyzing financial implications and potential impacts.
* Maintaining recovery and resolution plans for business units and entities, ensuring continuity of essential services during distress.
* Assessing financial data to evaluate the viability of distressed entities, considering financial strength, capital position, and liquidity risks.
* Overseeing Barclays' Financial Crisis Management Framework and maintaining the Group Recovery Plan.
* Ensuring resolution capabilities across the Group and its Material Legal Entities, coordinating regulatory and public disclosures.
* Managing controls, governance, and assurance processes to meet regulatory requirements.
