Hotel Operations Manager Job
We are seeking an experienced Hotel Operations Manager to oversee the daily activities of our reception and reservations team in a busy 4-star hotel located in County Clare.
The ideal candidate will have strong operational awareness, excellent customer service standards, and the ability to lead from the front.
This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a dedicated and experienced professional who can ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our reception desk.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight of daily front desk operations including guest check-in/check-out, room allocations, and bookings
* Leading and training the front office team to uphold high service standards and SOPs
* Liaising with housekeeping to ensure timely room availability and guest turnaround
* Responding to guest enquiries, feedback, and issues in a professional manner
* Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of the reception team
Requirements:
* Previous experience as Hotel Operations Manager or Assistant Front Office Manager in a hotel setting
* Strong knowledge of hotel systems, preferably Opera PMS
* Excellent English, communication, and leadership skills
* Strong attention to customer experience, organisation, and team motivation
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
