An Post is looking for an experienced, strategic and creative Social Media and Content Manager for a specific purpose contract on our Brand team.
As a Social Media and Content Manager you will be responsible for the management, creation, improvement and maintenance of all brands led marketing content initiatives for key customer channels to support business goals, ensuring customer engagement, brand consistency and a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities: The principal responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to: Developing cross-channel content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term business and marketing goals.
Developing a content calendar, through collaboration with critical teams, that becomes a key component of activities across all channels, ensuring synergies and integration are maximised.
Collaborating with channel owners, business area owners and other marketing teams to plan and develop new content briefs.
Developing a process and ways of working plan for all types of content production from brief to execution and optimally managing this process.
Integrating business critical content and ATL marketing campaigns across all channels ensuring consistency across all channels.
Supporting all An Post marketing teams content strategies.
Supporting larger business projects that require focus on customer content and how it can be most effective through channels.
On-going analysis and optimisation of content and placements for all channels.
Ensuring delivery against briefs from across the business, with quality delivery within SLA's.
Ensuring consistency and brand tone is carried throughout all creative elements on each channel.
Aligning the channel marketing team on prioritisation with focus on delivering relevant content per quarter based on business priorities.
Analysing campaigns and translating anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising social media, content marketing, SEO and social advertising campaigns.
Monitoring effective benchmarks (Best Practices) for measuring the impact of social media content and analysing, reviewing, and reporting on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximise results.
Advocating and actively demonstrating An Post core values and behaviours.
Requirements: You will have a third level qualification in business or digital marketing and will ideally have 5+ years of experience in a Social Media/Content role (brand or agency) with both B2B and B2C experience.
You should have an advanced working knowledge of social listening tools, social media management tools and social media promotional tactics with demonstrative experience employing web traffic metrics, Google Analytics, SEO principles and Search and Social principles to optimise business performance.
You are results oriented and KPI driven with excellent multitasking, prioritisation and decision-making capabilities.
You are also a critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and you are a team player with great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, comfortable working with and presenting to senior management on performance.
Fluency in Irish is an advantage.
It is important to note that the nature of this role means that there will be some attendance at events outside of working hours throughout the year.
