- €45 K.The Role Reporting to the Head of Learning & Development, the Regional Training Manager will lead the planning, delivery and governance of mandatory and regulatory training.You will also play a key role in standardising induction and strengthening competency assessment.Training Delivery & Governance Plan, deliver and coordinate mandatory training, including: o Safeguarding o Infection Prevention & Control (IPC theory) o Manual Handling (theory and coordination of practical delivery) o Dementia Awareness o Restrictive Practices o Basic Life Support (BLS) o Documentation standards o Nutrition & hydration o Risk, incident reporting and care planning Design, implement and maintain a standardised induction programme for all new staff.Maintain a group-wide training matrix and annual training calendar.Ensure accurate, centralised training records using Timepoint.Compliance, Audit & Inspection Support Conduct quarterly remote audits and targeted on-site compliance reviews.Assist with training evidence folders, corrective action tracking and follow-up.Contribute to accreditation of internal training modules.Capability Building Design and coordinate Train-the-Trainer programmes, including: Manual Handling Dementia Care Safeguarding End-of-Life Care Restrictive Practices IPC link practitioner development Establish and support training champions in each site.Develop practical training materials, job aids and micro-learning content using existing digital platforms.Continuous Improvement Identify gaps in learning delivery and respond to emerging training needs.Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback and performance metrics.Support reduced agency reliance through improved onboarding and competency development.Manage specific Learning & Development projects as required.The Candidate: Clinical or healthcare education background (nursing qualification desirable, not essential).35 years experience in healthcare training, clinical education or a related role.Strong working knowledge of HIQA Standards and residential care regulations.Experience delivering training to multidisciplinary healthcare teams.QQI Level 6 Manual Handling / Patient Moving & Handling Instructor qualification.IHF-recognised Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor qualification.Solid understanding of safeguarding, IPC, dementia care, end-of-life care and core care skills.Confident facilitator with strong presentation and coaching skills.Excellent planning and organisational ability across multiple sites.
