Accounting Technician Apprenticeship
The Accounting Technician Apprenticeship is a work-based education training programme which leads to a Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Accounting. You will gain significant experience working in accounts with a designated mentor and attend classes one-day a week.
Job Description
As an accounting technician, you will be responsible for bookkeeping, preparing and supporting the preparation of accounts, and processing all accounts payable and receivable.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Pass (O6/D3) in Leaving Certificate English
* Pass (O6/D3) in Leaving Certificate Mathematics or Accounting (within the last 5 years)
Applications are accepted from those sitting their leaving certificate. Candidates must be 17 years of age by August.
