The Opportunity
We are seeking a strategic, experienced, and inspiring
Head of Communication
s to lead and elevate our global communications function. This is a unique opportunity for a senior communicator to shape and deliver a communications strategy that supports our growth ambitions, enhances our brand, and strengthens engagement with key stakeholders worldwide.
You will be a trusted advisor to the Group Marketing Director and the executive team of the Group, a champion for our brand, and a builder of world-class communications capabilities.
This exciting role is being offered on a full time, permanent basis with the opportunity to work from our offices based in Dublin or Killorglin, County Kerry with flexibility to work a hybrid model.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
* Develop and execute a comprehensive global communications strategy aligned with business goals.
* Create and build on a presence across national and international markets that clearly defines our brand and business operations.
* Advise senior leadership on communications opportunities, risks, and reputation management.
* Lead on messaging, positioning, and executive visibility at the highest level.
External Communications
* Oversee all external communications, including media relations, corporate PR, thought leadership, and public affairs.
* Strengthen brand awareness and influence across key markets, sectors, and audiences.
* Build and manage relationships with media, analysts, partners, and industry bodies.
Issues & Crisis Management
* Lead the planning and execution of crisis and reputation management strategies.
* Serve as company spokesperson as required.
Team Leadership
* Build and mentor a high-performing, globally distributed communications team.
* Collaborate closely with Marketing, Stakeholders, ESG, and HR functions.
What We're Looking For
* 5+ years' experience in communications management, with a proven track record, with real, hands on experience - ideally within technology, B2B, global corporate or appropriate agency environments.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong sense of narrative and positioning.
* Experience working across global markets, with cultural fluency and a global mindset.
* Comfortable operating at pace in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
* Strong crisis management and media handling experience.
* Confident advising and working closely with C-level executives.
* Gravitas, sound judgement, and the ability to influence and inspire.
* Degree in Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
