Seasonal Retail Sales Assistant (Part-time)
We are a busy interiors and gift shop in Midleton, Co.
Cork.
We are currently looking for a bright, enthusiastic, energetic and customer-focused individual to join our team for the Christmas Season (until end December ****).
We are looking for someone to work with us 3 days per week to include weekdays as well as weekends, with flexibility to work additional days if required.
The ideal candidate will have retail experience, great communication skills, creativity and a passion for delivering superior customer service.
Role Requirements:
· Maintain excellent customer service at all times
· Take ownership of deliveries and stock replenishment / unpacking
· Handle cash transactions accurately and ensure products are rung up correctly
· Ensure the sales floor area is clean, organised, and presentable at all times
· Communicate effectively and build relationships with customers and colleagues
· Assist in cleaning and to display products in an attractive and effective manner
· Educate yourself and be knowledgeable of all products in the store
· Demonstrate flexibility to the needs of the business
Personal Skills and Requirements:
· Highly customer-focused
· Self-motivated and eager to learn
· Confident and cheerful personality
· Well-presented and punctual at all times
· Ability to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion
· An eye for detail and an interest in interiors / design
· Good level of spoken and written English
