Site Engineer - Residential
Leads on-site operations for residential construction projects, focusing on setting out activities and ensuring accurate positioning of structural components.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performs accurate setting out and leveling of works on-site using survey equipment (e.g., GPS, Total Station, laser levels).
* Oversees daily construction activities, ensuring work is carried out according to the project schedule, design drawings, and safety regulations.
* Manages subcontractors on-site, ensuring compliance with quality standards and addressing technical issues.
* Conducts site inspections and ensures all work meets required standards of accuracy and quality.
* Maintains accurate and up-to-date site records, including reports on work completed, material usage, and issues encountered.
* Works closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
* Identifies, assesses, and resolves technical and construction issues swiftly to minimize delays in project progress.
Key Requirements:
* Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
* Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a Site Engineer role, with significant experience in setting out and using surveying equipment.
* Familiarity with CAD software and construction project management tools advantageous.
* Strong understanding of residential construction processes, local building regulations, and Health & Safety requirements.
* Full, clean driving license required.
