Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Simulation Education Nurse Tutor to join our team in providing high-quality palliative care services.
About the Role:
* The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering simulation-based education programs for nurses and other healthcare professionals.
* They will work closely with our multidisciplinary teams to design and implement educational initiatives that meet the needs of patients and families receiving palliative care.
* This is a full-time position, fixed term contract lasting three years.
The role requires significant experience teaching, at least five years post-qualification experience in clinical practice with relevant experience in specialist palliative care settings, along with Level 9 qualifications on the National Framework of Qualifications in Nurse Education as well as subject relevance. A background or training in simulation facilitation would also be advantageous.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills including being able to teach effectively prepare prebriefing deliver presentations supporting reflective practices amongst staff etc..
