We are seeking a driven Business Development Executive to join our expanding Medical Device division in Ireland. You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing strategic accounts, and expanding our market presence in medical device testing, consultancy, and packaging services.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Irish medical device sector.
* Manage and grow existing client accounts, fostering long-term partnerships.
* Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored testing and consultancy solutions.
* Support strategic planning through market insights and client feedback.
* Assist in developing proposals and commercial agreements with support from senior management and legal teams.
* Utilize CRM tools to document and track sales activities, leads, and client interactions.
* Participate in industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, or related field).
* At least 3 years of experience in sales or business development within the medical device, biotech, or pharma sectors.
* Strong understanding of medical device regulations (ISO, GLP).
* Experience managing client relationships and driving business growth.
* Excellent communication and networking skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
The role involves interaction with all functions within Eurofins BPT Laboratories and with clients. Regular team meetings, client meetings, and ad hoc discussions are expected. The candidate should be available at the Ireland site as required and prepared to travel, including nights away from home, with an estimated 50% travel time per week.
