Programme Manager Location: Dublin (Hybrid) Employment Type: Permanent Salary: €80,000 - €90,000 A growing consultancy working with major clients across finance, technology, aviation, and telecoms is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to oversee large-scale business and IT change initiatives.
This role offers the opportunity to shape strategic programmes from early exploration through to delivery, working closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
Responsibilities Drive the definition, planning, and execution of major transformation programmes across business and technology domains.
Work with senior stakeholders to understand priorities, evaluate options, and outline programme direction.
Coordinate internal and external teams across multiple locations, ensuring alignment on goals, timelines, and outcomes.
Establish governance structures, track progress, manage dependencies, and adapt delivery plans as needed.
Lead change management activity, helping teams navigate shifts in processes, culture, and operating models.
Build strong relationships with vendors and partners, ensuring external contributions meet programme requirements.
Prepare clear reporting and status updates for executive audiences and steering groups.
Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, and programme reviews to maintain momentum and clarity.
Promote continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and enhancing delivery practices over time.
Requirements 5+ years' experience managing large, cross-functional programmes across multiple industries.
Professional project or programme management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2); advanced accreditation a plus.
Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and working in global or matrix environments.
Ability to travel to client sites to build relationships and understand local business needs.
Confident managing vendors, delivery partners, and distributed teams.
Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills at all organisational levels.
Skilled in both agile and traditional delivery methodologies.
Good understanding of change management, performance measurement, and programme evaluation.
Knowledge of IT landscapes, ideally including infrastructure or migration initiatives.
