Parker Stewart is working exclusively with a leading equipment company who is urgently seeking an experienced access engineer for an in-field role.
Responsiblities:
* Design and implement access solutions for various engineering projects.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations while developing access strategies.
* Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to determine the most effective access methods.
* Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate access engineering solutions into overall project designs.
* Manage relationships with contractors and vendors to ensure proper execution of access plans.
* Provide technical support and guidance during the construction phase to resolve any access-related issues.
* Prepare detailed documentation including project plans, drawings, and specifications for access systems.
* Monitor project progress and performance, adjusting plans as necessary to meet project goals.
* Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in access engineering to improve service delivery.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
* Professional Engineer (PE) certification is highly desirable.
* Proficient in engineering design software such as AutoCAD or equivalent.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Experience:
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in access engineering, construction engineering, or related fields.
* Experience working on large-scale construction projects is preferred.
* Proven track record of developing and implementing successful access solutions.
* Familiarity with local regulations and standards pertaining to access and safety.
