Eir business talent has partnered with an organisation in the west of Dublin. We are seeking a commercially driven Senior Business Development Executive who will be delivering revenue growth within the utilities and infrastructure sector.
The ideal candidate will have strong domain understanding across areas such as telecommunications, power, civil works, renewable energy, and large‑scale infrastructure. They should demonstrate a proven ability to secure contracts through structured procurement processes and to build effective long‑term relationships with key stakeholders, delivery partners, and industry organisations.
Responsibilities
:
* Contribute directly to revenue growth and market expansion
* Strengthen positioning within key industry frameworks
* Provide structured pipeline forecasting and commercial insights to leadership
* Enhance senior‑level client relationships
* Support long‑term commercial and strategic planning
Requirements
:
* 5-10 years of experience in a similar business development role
* A track record in securing medium‑ to large‑scale contracts and framework agreements
* Strong working knowledge of public procurement processes and digital tendering platforms
* Commercial capability in bid qualification, pricing strategy, and contract negotiation
* The ability to understand technical scopes and collaborate effectively with operational teams
* Experience managing a structured sales pipeline with defined conversion metrics
* Well‑established relationships within the wider utilities and infrastructure ecosystem
