Research Analyst Data Management % onsite Dublin 4 11 month Contract Salary per year: €76, Data manager to manage and maintain data sets.
This role requires a person who is detail-oriented, capable of analyzing and reviewing large data sets, collaborating and building relationships with our data managers and auditors.
• Lead and manage the creation, review, and ongoing maintenance of our Managed Partner Set (MPS), which contains government and political data specific to each country.
• Work closely with regional Global System Integrator (GSI) partner managers to review MPS records and offer recommendations in line with company policies and guidelines.
• Create manual lists of government and political data using desk research and organized workbooks.
• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure all completed workbooks are accurate and complete.
• Use data and analytical skills to evaluate large sets of data effectively.
• Support data preparation by extracting, reviewing, and organizing information from source datasets and manual lists for upload into the MPS.
• Ensure that partner data and related processes follow company policies and provide fair support for government and elections-related partners.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to test system updates, monitor data workflows, identify issues or irregularities, and ensure technical work meets business goals.
• Analyze complex support issues, perform root-cause investigations, and recommend improvements to processes, policies, and products to increase overall efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitor key operational metrics to gain insights into the support environment and help pinpoint areas for improvement.
Minimum Qualifications -5–10 years' experience in data operations or a related field, leading large-scale global projects or programmes -Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences -Strong experience analysing data to generate practical business insights -Proven experience reviewing and validating dashboards and reports to ensure accuracy and relevance of key metrics -Practical experience querying or reading SQL databases -Hands-on experience using data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, and Excel to extract, manipulate, and interpret data -Ability to monitor performance and ensure the integrity of data pipelines Knowledge of government and elections, including international politics, political parties, world leaders, and national legislators -2+ years' experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or technical product/programme management -2+ years' experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python) and/or statistical or mathematical software (e.g. R) -Experience developing and maintaining data pipelines Education -Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Government, or a related discipline
