Accounts Assistant Osborne Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistantto join an established and well-known company based in Shannon.
This is a full time temporary position for a period of six weeks with a possibility of extension.
Salary: €45K What you will do: Support accounts receivable and payable functions.
Assist in the costing of manufacturing items.
Assist with account reconciliations.
Liaising with vendors, customers, and internal departments.
Report the status of accounts and any discrepancies.
Arranging payments to local and overseas vendors via banking system.
Assist the monthly preparation of ROS VIES & Intrastat reporting.
Assist with CSO reporting Support and work towards deadlines and month-end/quarterly/annual reporting.
Any other ad hoc duties as required.
What you will need: The successful candidate will have 2 years experience within a Finance Administrator, Finance Assistant, or similar role.
Accounting Technician qualification or Part Qualified Accountant would be an advantage.
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and financial transactions.
Possess strong knowledge of MS Office suite in particular MS Excel.
Proficiency with ERP software.
Excellent relationship building and communication skills (verbal and written), with a strong attention to detail.
Strong organisation, problem solving and multitasking skills with a high degree of responsiveness, and integrity.
