Accounting Technician Job Description

As a key member of the finance team, you will work directly alongside the Financial Controller and Managing Director within this subsidiary on a daily basis.
* Manage the billing cycle and oversee any queries.
* Assist with payment plan setup for B2B corporate clients.
* Resolve queries and discrepancies.
* Manage general ledger entries.
* Reconcile bank and account statements.
* Prepare tax returns.
* Improve business processes through problem-solving.
* Prepare accounts at month and year-end.
* Conduct bookkeeping tasks.
* Process accounts payable transactions.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work independently.
* ATI qualification or similar.
* Experience with B2B credit or billing (desired).
* Advanced knowledge of accounts and bookkeeping within SMEs.
