The individual will be responsible for providing day-to-day support and supervision for young people in a residential setting, ensuring their safety, welfare, and well-being. Key responsibilities include implementing care plans, fostering positive relationships, supporting education and development, managing challenging behaviors, and ensuring a safe and structured environment aligned with the Emerald Model of Care principles.QualificationsExperience in childcare, residential care, or supporting young peopleAbility to manage challenging behaviors and foster positive relationshipsStrong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skillsCommitment to creating a safe and nurturing environment for young peopleRelevant qualifications in social care, youth work, childcare, or a related fieldFlexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysFull clean driving license is preferredUnderstanding of child protection policies and trauma-informed practices is an advantage
