Customer Assistant (30 - 35 Hours) - Pearse Street role at Tesco Ireland.

About the role
We are looking for people who are passionate about helping customers and delivering great service. You will contribute to giving customers a positive shopping experience, ensuring products and services are available, and maintaining a clean and organized shop floor and back areas.
Responsibilities
* Always put the customer first and consider them in everything you do.
* Get to know your customers and serve them with pride.
* Help ensure products and services are available for customers at all times.
* Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach the customer in the best condition.
* Keep the shop floor and back areas clean and tidy at all times.
* Follow department routines and processes as trained.
* Follow all company policies and adhere to Health and Safety routines.
* Support colleagues by helping in other departments as needed.
You will need
* Ability to provide great, natural customer service by proactively smiling, greeting, acknowledging and helping customers.
* Hard-working attitude towards customers, your team and your department.
* Ability to prioritise to ensure actions benefit customers.
* Adaptable and resilient to meet changing business demands.
* Ability to follow verbal or written instructions.
* Reliable and a good timekeeper.
* Smart and tidy at all times.
