Job Title: Lead GoCar Tech Installer Location: Swords Road, Harris Park, Turnapin Great, Dublin Reports to: Operations Manager Main Objective: As a Lead GoCar Tech Installer, you will be responsible for the efficient management and maintenance of the GoCar and Direct to Car Fleet, ensuring high vehicle availability and optimal operating costs. Execute all field vehicle tasks for GoCar and Direct to Car Fleet. Oversee weekly technical tasks to maximize vehicle condition/uptime and minimize costs, adhering to budget and reporting adherence/downtime. Assign daily technical and availability tasks to Europcar Fleet Operations as needed. Partner with Europcar Fleet Operations and GoCar Growth Manager to find new parking. Optimize operations using lean process concepts. Supervise Tech area upkeep, maintenance, repair, and cleanliness. Control Tech area stock, including stock take documentation. Ensure top-level security for company fleet and assets. Handle on-site Health & Safety for self and colleagues. Work with on-street team to resolve remote issues and reduce downtime. Address technical fleet-related customer service escalations. Diagnose and validate fixes for deployed hardware, including fuel recording. Identify trends/issues, recommend solutions to improve GoCar Fleet Tech, and provide weekly progress reports. Pinpoint potential GoCar Fleet customer impact issues. Develop and execute test plans/cases for hardware, firmware, and software based on requirements. Collaborate with hardware/firmware teams to test new features/improvements for telematics units (e.g., Carvaloo, damage processes). Contribute to product growth by validating future hardware/software. Test web/mobile applications for end-to-end member experience, including manual functional, system integration, user acceptance, cross-browser, and security testing. Track and report quality assurance metrics weekly. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Responsible for own health and safety and that of other work colleagues. Any ad hoc duties or reporting as required Your Skills: Proven experience in the automotive, installation, electrical, or service technician industry. A team player with excellent communication and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Previous direct management experience. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
