Senior Data EngineerContract (DRC) - 6 MonthsDublin City Centre - 2-3 days onsiteI am currently recruiting for a Senior Data Engineer to join a fast-growing FinTech organisation based in Dublin City Centre.This is a day-rate contract for an initial 6 months, this contract is a great opportunity to work on high-impact data initiatives within a dynamic, regulated environment.The RoleYou will play a key role in designing, building, and optimising data pipelines and data models that support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence across the organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processesWork extensively with SQL for data modelling, querying, and performance optimisationDevelop data solutions using PythonSupport and enhance BI and reporting tools used across the businessCollaborate with analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutionsEnsure data quality, reliability, and governance best practices are followedRequired ExperienceStrong experience as a Senior Data Engineer or similar roleAdvanced SQL skillsSolid Python development experience for data engineering use casesHands-on experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar)Experience working in FinTech or other regulated environments is highly desirableStrong communication skills and ability to work in a contract, delivery-focused role
