Technical Specialist - Microsoft 365 Copilot

Job Summary:
Part of the M365 Copilot team, the Specialist is responsible for enabling and optimizing the use of Microsoft 365 Copilot across an organization. This role focuses on driving adoption, training users, and configuring Copilot features within Microsoft 365 apps like Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams to enhance productivity and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the rollout and configuration of Microsoft 365 Copilot across departments.
* Identify business use cases where Copilot can improve efficiency and automate tasks.
* Develop and execute adoption strategies, including training plans and user guides.
* Conduct workshops, webinars, and one‑on‑one sessions to educate users on Copilot capabilities.
* Create documentation and best practices for prompt engineering and effective usage.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for Copilot‑related queries and troubleshooting.
* Ensure Copilot usage aligns with organizational policies and Microsoft 365 governance standards.
* Collaborate with IT and security teams to manage data access, permissions and privacy settings.
* Track usage metrics and user feedback to continuously improve Copilot effectiveness.
* Recommend enhancements or additional features based on user needs and Microsoft updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 apps and their Copilot functionalities.
* Experience in user training, change management or digital adoption programs.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Familiarity with Microsoft 365 admin center and compliance settings.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Microsoft certifications related to Microsoft 365 (e.g., MS‑900, MS‑102).
* Experience in enterprise IT environments or digital workplace transformation.
* Background in business analysis or productivity consulting.
Soft Skills:
