The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Advisor will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the company’s HS&E strategy across projects. The role ensures the promotion of a positive safety culture and helps position Flynn as a leader in health, safety, and environmental compliance within the industry.
Key Responsibilities
Health & Safety Guidance:
Implement company EHS policies and provide expert advice on all health and safety matters.
Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of EHS policies and documentation.
Inspections, Audits & Reporting:
Conduct site inspections and audits, producing detailed reports and recommendations.
Carry out risk assessments and ensure all incidents and accidents are thoroughly investigated and reported.
Training & Communication:
Identify training requirements and deliver EHS training sessions to staff and stakeholders.
Subcontractor & Stakeholder Management:
Monitor and ensure subcontractor compliance with EHS standards and regulations.
Candidate Requirements
Third-level qualification in EHS or a related field
Minimum of 3 years’ experience on large-scale commercial or construction projects
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
High attention to detail with a proactive and conscientious approach
Ability to work independently and build strong working relationships
Full clean driving licence (preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
