Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Project Contracts Engineer to join their team in Cork and support the successful delivery of capital projects.
Role:
The successful Project Contracts Engineer will play a key role in the commercial and contractual management of projects, with a strong focus on estimating, cost control, and contract execution:
Support project estimating, tender preparation, and cost analysis
Provide input into pricing of technical documentation and ITP packages
Conduct thorough contract reviews upon order award, ensuring clarity on scope and requirements
Manage and implement contract variations and change orders
Ensure all documentation is developed and submitted in line with contractual obligations
Coordinate issuance and approval of technical drawings and submittals
Place and manage sub‑orders with suppliers and subcontractors
Liaise with Finance to ensure:
Accurate bank guarantees
Timely milestone invoicing
Monitor project progress to ensure deadlines are met and risk of liquidated damages is minimised
Track and report on programme progress, risks and deliverables
Coordinate product inspections across sites, suppliers and third parties
Work with logistics and customer teams to ensure on‑time shipments and documentation
Provide technical support, including reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings
Liaise with engineering and operations teams to resolve customer technical queries
Maintain well‑organised project files and documentation systems
Use customer systems for submitting bids and documentation
Compile and submit final documentation packs upon project completion
Person:
This role is ideal for candidates who combine strong commercial awareness with technical project experience, particularly in regulated environments:
Experience in contracts management, estimating or project coordination
Background in pharma, cleanroom, life sciences or construction environments is highly desirable
Strong understanding of technical drawings, specifications and documentation
Experience managing contracts, variations and commercial risk
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Ability to work across multiple projects and deadlines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience working within quality‑driven or regulated environments is advantageous

Salary: €60‑95k (DOE)
