Business Development Role
Identify and capitalise on business opportunities to drive growth and expansion within existing client portfolios. The ideal candidate will engage with key stakeholders to develop new relationships, leverage internal networks and external sources to source new business prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute strategic plans to proactively identify and pursue business opportunities.
* Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to identify and acquire additional suitable clients.
* Work with lending teams to facilitate the initiation and drawdown of credit requests.
* Stay up-to-date with wealth management products and services, leveraging this knowledge to deliver tailored solutions for high-net-worth clients.
* Ensure all compliance and administrative obligations are met to required standards.
* Source and retain new deposits to enhance portfolio value.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* QFA qualification
* Full clean driving license
* A minimum of 8 years' experience in banking, including negotiating lending transactions and wealth management
* Ability to build trusted relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
* Familiarity with wealth management products and the competitive landscape in the high-net-worth market
