Job Description
The role of an Area Manager involves overseeing a district, leading and managing a team of Store Managers. This position requires a strong retail professional with strategic-thinking, problem-solving skills and experience in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a district, overseeing all Store Managers
- Foster a positive, high-performing team environment
- Coach, support, and develop Store Managers to drive success
- Monitor and optimise stock flow and cash management
- Conduct regular district tours with the Sales Executive
- Provide analysis and feedback to support key projects
- Manage store openings, refurbishments, and re-openings
- Develop and execute annual business plans and staffing strategies
- Define and track KPIs to ensure operational excellence
- Align district performance with company strategy
Requirements:
- A minimum 2.1 degree in any discipline or at least 3 years of management experience
- Strong communication, planning, organisational, and analytical skills
- A full, clean driving licence
- A motivated, flexible, and results-driven leader
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
