Cybersecurity Lead Crisis Response & Threat Mitigation This high-impact position offers the opportunity to lead the resolution of critical cybersecurity incidents within a complex, global technology Cybersecurity Lead Crisis Response & Threat Mitigation will act as the first line of defence when sophisticated threats arise, orchestrating rapid, effective responses to protect systems, data, and reputations. This is a key position for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and can lead with authority under pressure. The role is suited to an experienced cybersecurity practitioner who can manage crisis situations, build incident response capabilities, and communicate confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders. This individual will play a strategic role in driving improvements to the organisations security posture, working alongside experts in threat intelligence, forensics, and infrastructure defence. Responsibilities: Direct and coordinate cyber incident response activities across multiple business units. Develop and execute containment, eradication, and recovery plans in real-time. Lead crisis communication with internal stakeholders and external partners. Provide technical oversight and forensic insight throughout the incident lifecycle. Produce post-incident reports, including root cause analyses and remediation strategies. Mentor and support the development of junior team members. Help shape incident response policies, playbooks, and detection strategies. Stay abreast of the latest threat actor tactics and mitigation technologies. Requirements: Demonstrated experience leading major cybersecurity incidents in enterprise environments. Strong foundation in digital forensics, threat hunting, and malware analysis. Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, and threat intelligence platforms. Excellent judgement under pressure, with experience communicating at senior levels. Relevant certifications such as GCIH, GCFA, GNFA, or CISSP are advantageous. Understanding of European regulatory frameworks related to data protection and breach notification. Exceptional analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Willingness to be fully onsite in Limerick with flexibility for occasional travel.
