DescriptionExciting Opportunity: Join the Salesforce Finance and Revenue Operations Team as aSales Compensation Associate Analyst. In this role, you will support the administration, and continuous improvement of Salesforce's global sales incentive compensation programs while also applyingbusiness intelligence skillsto deliver reporting, insights, and automation. Primary responsibilities include administering commissions, ensuring accurate crediting, reporting, resolving complex inquiries from sales employees, and supporting compensation and BI-related process improvements.The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of variable incentive compensation (performance based), strong analytical skills, and the ability to leverage BI tools to identify trends and provide actionable insights. This role requires the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, make quick informed decisions, collaborate across functions globally, and effectively communicate findings with stakeholders at all levels. If you are detail-oriented, solution-focused, and thrive at the intersection of finance, operations, and data, we want to hear from you.Responsibilities IncludeRespond to routine inquiries and escalate complex cases from sales employees regarding quota attainment, performance crediting, and commission payments.Assist in building reports and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations under guidance, to provide insights on incentive plan performance and sales productivity.Partner with Sales Strategy, Quota and Capacity, Sales Operations, Finance, HR and HR to align compensation processes with company strategy.Help ensure compliance with SOX controls, audit requirements, and company policies.Support system testing, new product launches, and process documentation impacting incentive compensation.Assist in case data analysis, identify trends and risks, and provide recommendations for improvements.Contribute to BI-driven automation and reporting enhancements to streamline compensation processes.Document and maintain compensation policies, procedures, and system guidelines.Support subject matter experts on compensation-related inquiries, projects and BI initiatives within the Global Incentive Compensation Organization.Deliver high-quality work that meets or exceeds team performance metrics.Required Skills/ExperienceBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.2–4 years of experience in sales compensation, sales operations, finance, or related field.Exposure to business intelligence tools is a plus.Willingness to learn incentive compensation systems and Salesforce tools.Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work effectively across functions and geographies.High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated initiative, curiosity and problem-solving mindset.Desired Skills/ExperienceExperience with incentive compensation management tools is a plus (e.g., Xactly, SPIFF or similar).Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and reporting tools.Exposure to SQL, Snowflake, Python or data manipulation is a strong plus.Additional InformationThis role is hybrid and goes into the office three days per week.
