Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst - Energy Market Expert
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team as an Energy Market Expert. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the development of our energy market strategy, providing expert financial analysis and insights to inform business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare annual regulated revenue and tariff submissions for approval by the relevant regulatory bodies.
• Support the tariff reporting process and assist in price control reviews and budgeting cycles.
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models to analyse tariff and revenue outcomes.
• Evaluate commercial initiatives, assessing their financial and regulatory impact.
• Contribute to EU and national consultations and analyse implications of market and policy developments.
Requirements:
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• 35 years experience, ideally within the energy or utilities sector, with exposure to a regulated environment.
• Strong financial and numerical modelling skills in Excel, including advanced formulae and macros.
• Excellent analytical ability with a structured approach to problem-solving.
• Strong communicator with the ability to explain complex financial insights clearly.
