About the Job
* Prepare and file accurate Value Added Tax (VAT) returns to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and deadlines.
* Process and manage PAYE/PRSI calculations and submissions, including year-end returns.
* Handle Relevant Contracts Tax (RCT), ensuring correct deductions and submissions for relevant payments.
* Stay updated on changes in tax legislation to ensure continuous compliance.
* Perform accurate and timely bank reconciliations for multiple client accounts.
* Manage and process client invoicing, including sales invoices and credit notes.
* Maintain and update debtors' ledgers, ensuring accurate recording of outstanding payments and assisting with debtor management.
* Process supplier invoices and expenses, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
* Liaise directly with clients to request information, clarify transactions, and resolve queries professionally.
Requirements
* A minimum of 2 years of recent and relevant experience in a bookkeeping role.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
* Exceptional organizational skills with a methodical approach to tasks and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work, particularly with financial data.
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
