Job description Full time/permanent post, 39 hours per week and reporting to the Service Manager.My client, a private healthcare provider based in Galway that specialises in individualised supports for people to meet their physical, psychological, and social care needs in an environment that encourages independence and promotes their rights and well-being are hiring a Service Coordinator to manage services delivered to individuals in their own homes.Key Duties:Run daily operations of the service, including creating staff rosters based on the needs of the service and individuals.Make sure essential information is shared between shifts and recorded properly.Step in as manager when needed or lead special projects when asked.Lead and support the care team to help individuals with daily activities in a safe and effective way.Oversee team performance through regular meetings, observations, and feedback.Ensure accurate record-keeping such as care plans, observation notes, and incident reports.Work closely with the internal care team to meet each person's needs.Stay in contact with individuals, families, and outside services when needed.Essential Criteria:At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.A QQI Level 5 qualification (or similar) in a care-related area.Experience managing and leading a team.Hold or be working towards gaining a Full Manual Driving license and willingness to drive for work.
