A leading renewable energy IPP is hiring a Grid Connection Manager to take ownership of grid strategy across a growing Irish pipeline of solar PV and battery storage (BESS) projects.This role will lead connection activity from early-stage feasibility through to signed grid agreements, ensuring optimal technical, commercial and programme outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and drive grid connection strategy across development projectsManage applications and act as primary interface with network operatorsNegotiate connection offers, costs, milestones and payment structuresAssess distribution and transmission connection options (contestable & non-contestable works)Provide internal guidance on grid policy and regulatory developmentsManage external consultants where requiredAbout YouDegree in Electrical / Energy Engineering (or similar)5+ years’ experience in grid connections (DNO, TSO, consultancy or developer side)Experience in renewable energy (BESS, Solar, or Onshore Wind)Strong understanding of Irish grid processes and connection frameworksCommercially aware, confident negotiating connection offersComfortable managing multiple projects to tight deadlinesIdeal for someone looking to take ownership of grid strategy within a dynamic, growth-focused renewables platform.
