POSITION TITLE: RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT
POSITION SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of this position is to source suitable candidates for client projects.
The recruitment consultant is responsible for assessing the individual requirements of each role and submitting suitable candidates to the client for review.
This is a very interactive role and strong communications skills are key.
This is a sales focused role which requires the recruitment consultant to set & achieve sales targets.
GENERAL SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Review client job specs and edit as required to ensure adequate project and client specific information.
Review candidate CVs and engage with suitable candidates to discuss suitability based on the requirements of the role, location & rate.
Submit only suitable candidates in a timely manner for client review.
Ensure client submission procedures are followed and email confirmation from the candidate is on file confirming their approval to submit CV.
Build a strong pipeline of talent through Linked In & in house database.
Review job boards daily for strong CVs and add to database.
Provide Interview preparation for candidates shortlisted for interview.
Interview preparation material is emailed to the candidate and phone/video call is arranged to run through the interview preparation.
It is a critical part of the recruitment consultant role to ensure all candidates are adequately prepared for client interviews.
Regular follow up with all submitted candidates at various stages of the process.
This should include at least weekly calls to update.
Liaise with client on onboarding of successful candidates.
Complete background checks and references etc as per client requirements.
Confirm induction details with the candidate and ensure everything is set up for their start on site.
Maintain a strong relationship with all placed contractors by keeping in regular contact to ensure they are getting on well in their assignment.
KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
Excellent interpersonal skills as well as excellent communication skills both written & verbal.
Ability to operate as part of a team is critical & also ability to self-manage and work independently.
Good industry knowledge and interest in the life science industry.
Good attention to detail.
