Job Title: Marketing Manager
We are seeking a seasoned Marketing Manager to spearhead our marketing operations for a property in Castlebar, Co. Mayo.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy to enhance brand awareness, drive direct bookings, and support revenue growth across accommodation, dining, weddings, events, and spa services.
This is a pivotal leadership role that requires creativity, digital marketing expertise, and a strong commercial mindset.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement the annual marketing strategy aligned with business goals.
* Plan and execute digital campaigns including SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, and influencer partnerships.
* Manage all brand communications, content creation, and visual identity to ensure consistency across channels.
* Collaborate with sales, events, and F&B teams to support targeted promotions and seasonal campaigns.
* Manage the hotel website and optimise online presence to increase direct bookings.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and guest feedback to inform strategy.
* Prepare and manage the marketing budget and measure ROI across activities.
* Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and local partnerships.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in hospitality, travel, or luxury brands.
* Proven track record in digital marketing, campaign management, and content creation.
* Strong understanding of brand positioning and guest engagement.
* Proficiency in digital tools and platforms including Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, CMS, and email marketing software.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Creative, analytical, and commercially focused mindset.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Must be living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
